What you need

Step 1: Make dashi stock

  1. In a pot add 600ml of water and 1 pack of dashi stock. Over medium high heat bring water up to a boil, then reduce to a light simmer.
  2. Add 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp mirin, 1 tsp sugar, 1/8 tsp salt. Stir to combine, taste and adjust to your liking.
